CM Yogi's political power increased after victory in by-elections, government ready for 2027

CM Yogi Adityanath: After the landslide victory in the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, there is talk of Yogi everywhere. Yogi's political influence has increased not only in BJP but also among other parties. In fact, BJP's performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections was quite disappointing in UP and SP had emerged as the largest party in the state. While on one hand there was enthusiasm among the opposition after the Lok Sabha elections, on the other hand after the by-elections tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the BJP workers. As soon as the election results were announced on 23 November, as soon as CM Yogi reached the BJP office, slogans of Yogi-Yogi started being raised everywhere.

Yogi-Yogi after UP by-elections

After the Lok Sabha results, many senior BJP leaders had raised questions on the Yogi government. However, the party leaders never openly said anything against Yogi. After which the government sitting in Delhi handed over all the reins of the by-elections to CM Yogi. If BJP had to face defeat in this by-election, the responsibility for this would also have been on CM Yogi. Therefore, CM Yogi is garnering praise for his spectacular victory.

Yogi showed his strength

Yogi was continuously busy preparing for the by-elections to be held in the state for the last 2-3 months. For this, he had fielded 30 leaders at the grassroots level and was seen holding continuous review meetings of the by-elections to be held on 9 seats. This is the reason why BJP won even in those places which were called SP's strongholds.

Defeated in SP's stronghold

Under the leadership of CM Yogi, BJP won the Katehri seat after almost three decades. Apart from this, BJP also won the Kundarki seat. BJP captured 7 out of 9 seats, out of which 6 were won by BJP and 1 seat was won by ally RLD.

Elections under the leadership of Yogi in 2027

At the same time, SP won only two seats, Sisamau and Karhal. After the UP by-elections, Yogi magic was once again seen in the state and with the same enthusiasm, party workers are seen preparing for the 2027 UP Assembly elections. After this victory, it has once again become clear that in 2027, BJP will contest elections only under the leadership of CM Yogi.
