Cocktail is not just a film but an emotion, know what will be special in this new film of Shahid, Kriti and Rashmika?

When ‘Cocktail’ came out about 14 years ago, it showed how blurred the line between friendship and love can be. Now, the filmmakers are all set to bring back the same magic, but with a completely new style and a new cast. This time the trio: Who is that ‘dream team’? According to reports, Shahid Kapoor has almost been finalized for the lead role. On hearing Shahid’s name, the chocolate boy ‘Kabir Singh’ comes to mind, which is a perfect fit for a romantic drama. But the story doesn’t end here! The names of Kriti Sanon and National Crush Rashmika Mandanna are coming forward as the female leads in the film. We have seen the chemistry of Shahid and Kriti before in ‘Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, which was liked by the fans a lot. Now the inclusion of Rashmika in it is like icing on the cake. How different will the story be from the old ‘Cocktail’? If you remember the Saif-Deepika film, it was a typical ‘triangle love story’ which was woven in the streets of London. If sources are to be believed, ‘Cocktail 2’ will not be a complete sequel, but will be a new story which will reflect today’s ‘dating’ and ‘live-in’ culture. Shahid has a big responsibility on his shoulders to take forward the legacy of Saif Ali Khan. Why is there so much wait for this film? Currently, this project is in its pre-production stage and it is expected that this film can hit the big screen by the middle or end of the year 2026. If everything goes as per plan, the shooting will go on floors in early 2026.
