Cold wave continues in Bihar, Patna DM extends date of closure of schools
Patna: Cold wave continues in North India including Bihar. The effect of cold is being seen in all the districts of Bihar including Patna. In view of the cold wave, the District Magistrate of Patna has ordered to keep all the schools of Patna closed.

On Sunday, yellow alert of dense fog was issued in 18 districts of Bihar. There will be light clouds in some districts adjoining Uttar Pradesh, but the chances of rain are very less. According to the Meteorological Department, there is hope of some relief from cold in Bihar in the next 2-3 days. From January 13 to 15, the minimum temperature may increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.
According to the Patna District Magistrate, classes up to eighth in all private and government schools of the district (including pre-school and Anganwadi centers) will remain closed on January 15, while classes nine and above will be conducted after 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This can be done only before o'clock.
