The temperature was recorded at 16.5 degrees in Indore, 15.2 degrees in Ujjain and 13 degrees in Jabalpur.

The Meteorological Department says that snowfall has started in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh. Jet stream winds are also blowing. In such a situation, northern winds will also come to Madhya Pradesh, which will increase the chill. The mercury may fall further in the coming days. Now the average day temperature has dropped by 2 degrees. At the same time, the night temperature is below 15 degrees Celsius in more than 15 cities. With the increase in cold in the state, school timings have also been changed. Timings of many schools in Bhopal have been extended by 30 minutes. The Meteorological Department said that on Monday-Tuesday night it was 12.5 degrees in Betul, 14.8 degrees in Dhar, 13.6 degrees in Guna, 15.9 degrees in Narmadapuram, 13 degrees in Khandwa, 13.2 degrees in Khargone, 14.8 degrees in Raisen, 12.4 degrees in Rajgarh, 15 degrees in Ratlam, 12.2 degrees in Chhindwara, The temperature was recorded at 14.2 degrees in Khajuraho, 10.4 degrees in Mandla, 14.4 degrees in Narsinghpur, 12.1 degrees in Naugaon, 13.5 degrees in Rewa, 14.4 degrees in Seoni, 14 degrees in Tikamgarh, 11.2 degrees in Umaria and 11.3 degrees in Balaghat. Even in Jabalpur and Ujjain the night temperature is below normal. The mercury in Gwalior and Ujjain is 15 degrees or less.
