In response to the challenging job market facing new college graduates and international students, four enterprising college students have launched Jobseekr.io, an innovative platform designed to simplify the job search process.

Akash Mali, Hrishikesh Mane, Mohish Nemade, and Omkar Shinde, all recent graduates from Binghamton University, created Jobseekr.io to address the challenges they and others faced in finding jobs. Despite the abundance of existing job search platforms, Jobseekr.io stands out by tackling common pitfalls that others overlook, offering a streamlined and effective solution for today’s job seekers.

‘Built by Job Seekers, For Job Seekers’

“We were tired of facing rejections within minutes,” said Akash Mali, one of the creators of Jobseekr.io. “We applied to over 100 jobs a week with no luck and an interview rate of less than 2%. We realized that many of our peers were struggling similarly, especially those of us who are international students.”

Jobseekr.io offers a range of features tailored to the needs of recent graduates, experienced folks and international students:

  • Truly latest jobs, directly from the source & updated every hour.
  • Artificial Intelligence powered job matching based on skills.
  • Personalized job recommendations and email alerts tailored to candidate’s preferences.
  • Data-driven visa sponsorship predictor tool.
  • Tailored search options based on category, location, experience and more.

Hrishikesh Mane, another co-creator, highlighted one of the platform’s unique features: “One major problem we faced was not knowing whether a company would sponsor visas for international students, or if a particular job opening included sponsorship. So we built a Data-driven engine that predicts if a job opening or company is likely to sponsor your visa.”

The team’s personal experiences have shaped the development of Jobseekr.io. Mohish Nemade explained their advanced resume-matching system: “We built our custom Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that uses advanced AI to extract skills required for the job. We give candidates a score for each job opening based on their resume and provide suggestions to tailor their applications.”

Omkar Shinde another co-creator of Jobseekr.io, highlighted the platform’s core philosophy: “We emphasize quality over quantity. We ensure that every job posted is not only the latest but also maintains its integrity, providing users with real opportunities.”

Since its launch, Jobseekr.io has gained significant traction among colleges, graduates, and professionals worldwide. Users have shared inspiring success stories of securing interviews and job offers through the platform, showcasing the impact it is making.

What sets Jobseekr.io apart is its commitment to accessibility. “It’s free for everyone,” Mohish emphasized. “We know how much we struggled to search for jobs as international students in the US, so we don’t want to gatekeep this resource from others.”

As the job market continues to evolve, the creators of Jobseekr.io remain committed to adapting their platform to meet the needs of job seekers. They plan to expand their services to and help job seekers find their dream job.

For new graduates, experienced folks and international students navigating the challenging job market, Jobseekr.io offers a beacon of hope and a valuable resource in their quest for meaningful employment. By addressing the unique challenges faced by international students and recent graduates, Jobseekr.io is poised to make a significant impact in the job search landscape.
