Colors of religious flag will be different on supplementary temples, Rajnath will hoist the flag on Annapurna temple today

On the golden peak of Shri Ram Mandir flag hoisting After this, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is now planning to hoist the flag ceremony at the seven supplementary temples of the Janmabhoomi complex as well.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will hoist the flag on the peak of Maa Annapurna Temple on Wednesday on the day of Pratistha Dwadashi, while the program for the other six temples will be decided later. Trust officials are discussing about the color of the religious flag of the supplementary temples. A red flag will be hoisted at Annapurna temple. In other temples, the color of the flag will be decided according to the abode and auspiciousness of the Gods and Goddesses.

On November 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had hoisted the saffron colored religious flag at Shri Ram Temple. At that time, some works of the temples complementing the fort were incomplete, hence the flag was not hoisted on them. Now the flag hoisting will be done only at Annapurna Temple on 31st December. The remaining six supplementary temples include Lord Shiva, Ganesha, Suryadev, Maa Durga, Hanuman Ji and Sheshavtar Temple. According to the Trust, the flag of the same color will be hoisted as a symbol of the deity who resides in the supplementary temples.

Shiva Temple: White or Saffron

Durga Temple: Red or Saffron

Ganesh Temple: Yellow or Saffron

Sun Temple: White or Saffron

Hanuman Temple: Red or Saffron

Sheshavtar Temple: Saffron or Yellow

Flag hoisting will be done at some temples on the day of Hindu Year Pratipada and at some on the day of Ram Navami. There are preparations to invite President Draupadi Murmu on Varsha Pratipada.

Automatic system will not be used in flag hoisting at the peak of Annapurna Temple. Since the height of the peak is about 80 feet, the flag hoisting will be done with the help of rope and pulley under the supervision of engineers.

Mahabhishekam of Ramlala will also take place on the occasion of Pratistha Dwadashi. Abhishek with Panchamrit, grand adornment, offering of food and Prakatya Aarti will be organised. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be present on this occasion.

Thus, variation of the colors of the flag at the supplementary temples at the Janmabhoomi will be ensured as per the symbols and auspiciousness of the Gods and Goddesses, while the grand flag hoisting ceremony will be held at the Annapurna temple today.
