Why did the prices increase suddenly?
In the last few months, commercial gas had become very expensive due to tensions in the Middle East and inflation in the global market. Now there is some relief. This deduction will benefit hotels, restaurants, dhabas, caterers and those running cloud kitchens. Their expenses will be less.
Petrol and diesel prices reduced
Private oil company Naira Energy has also reduced the price of petrol by Rs 5 per liter and diesel by Rs 3 per liter. The government and oil companies decide the price of LPG on the first of every month. Domestic gas prices are often not increased or decreased due to government policy. Therefore, common families will not get the benefit of this relief.
