During this time, Yogi government has constituted a committee to establish industrial harmony in Noida. The chairman of the committee will be the Industrial Development Commissioner. The committee will include members of ACS Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Principal Secretary Labor and Employment.

The demonstration was mainly held in Phase 2, Sector 60, Sector 62 and Sector 84 of Noida. This protest has become more violent near a company named Motherson. Most violence took place in Hosiery Complex (Phase 2).

Workers working in many companies in Noida complained that they were made to work for long hours. They were made to work for 12 hours and were given only Rs 12,000 every month. Their demand is that they should be given Rs 20,000 per month and working hours should be fixed at 8 hours. He demanded better working environment.

The workers’ movement was peaceful. But after the clash with the police, the workers started pelting stones. After this vandalism and arson started.

On Sunday, the administration had announced some relief to the workers. The administration assured double overtime pay, weekly leave, salary till 10th and bonus before 30th November.
