New Delhi : Communication Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has given a big statement regarding 6G service today on the occasion of IMC seminar. In which he has said that it should be very important to ensure inclusivity and affordability for everyone through standards and rules related to 6G.

Speaking at the inauguration of the International 6G Seminar at the India Mobile Congress (IMC), Jyotiraditya Scindia said that since standards are being set for 6G, India has a tremendous opportunity given its proven capability in technology and engineering.

The Minister said, “Our 6G standard featuring unprecedented speeds, low latency and transformative applications must be inclusive, accessible and affordable for all and only then will it represent true value to humanity as a whole.”

Contribution to the construction of regulation

Scindia also stressed the importance of ensuring cyber security for every citizen taking advantage of the 6G opportunity. “As we build the regulatory environment, India has tremendous potential to contribute to the construction of regulation,” he said.

The minister said, “About 31.7 percent of the world's STEM graduates are from India. “This presents a huge opportunity to be a vibrant enabler of 6G technology that will open doors to artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things and machine learning.”

Scindia said that the recent changes made in the Telecom Act 2023 were designed on the basis of modernization of India's telecom infrastructure, highlighting the hitherto unresolved sector from the high capacity sector of satellite communications, digital The challenges of the era can be solved, the most important of which is cyber security.
