The sudden announcement that Chief Technology Officer Murati is leaving the company comes as OpenAI founder Greg Brockman is on leave. In August, OpenAI co-founder John Shulman left the company to join another AI company Ethiopic. The third co-founder, chief scientist Ilya Sutskvar, left OpenAI in May.
