A defamation case of Rs 100 crore has been filed against actress Khushi Mukherjee. Social media influencer Faizan Ansari filed the case on January 13, 2026. Khushi had made comments about Indian T20 international captain Suryakumar Yadav, claiming that the cricketer used to message her frequently.

According to reports, Faizan Ansari, a resident of Mumbai, has filed a complaint at Gazipur police station. He termed Khushi Mukherjee’s claims as defamatory and false. He has said that Khushi is deliberately making such statements about him for publicity, which may tarnish the reputation of the cricketer at the national level.

Demand for 7 years imprisonment

Faizan has demanded strict action against the actress, demanding a minimum sentence of 7 years. Speaking to the media, he said, “We want to file an FIR against Khushi Mukherjee immediately. I have mentioned this in my written complaint. I have more than 2 million followers on Instagram and lakhs of people watch my videos. I will stay in Ghazipur until justice is served. If Khushi proves her allegations, I am ready to apologize publicly.” Faizan Ansari had earlier filed a Rs 100 crore defamation case against Poonam Pandey.

Khushi Mukherjee’s claim

A few days ago, Khushi had claimed that Suryakumar used to message her. She also said that many cricketers were doing her. She said, “Suryakumar used to message me a lot. Now we don’t talk much. I don’t even want to be in a relationship with him. I don’t like link-up rumours.” Later, she changed her tune in an interview with NDTV. She said that she never had an affair with Suryakumar. The words were exaggerated, which led to misunderstandings. She used to talk to Suryakumar only as a friend, but now there is no contact.
