Conflict in Haryana Congress: Working President Ramkishan Gurjar resigns, political storm over cross voting, know the whole matter
Chandigarh. Political turmoil has intensified in Haryana Congress regarding cross voting. Party’s working president Ramkishan Gurjar has resigned from his post. He is the husband of Congress MLA Shaili Chaudhary, whose name is in discussion on social media regarding cross voting. However, the names of such MLAs have not been made public by Congress yet.
“Conspiracy to defame”—Ramkishan Gurjar-
Ramkishan Gurjar clearly said that Shaili Chaudhary has not done cross voting. According to him, this is all a conspiracy to defame him. In protest he decided to resign from his post.
Kuldeep Vatsa’s pain-
Congress MLA from Badli Kuldeep Vats also expressed his displeasure. He said that his heart, mind and soul are sad. He raised questions on the importance given to corrupt people in the party and said about the future, “Time will tell.”
Hooda’s allegation – murder of democracy.
Haryana’s Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Singh Hooda alleged that Congress was certain to get one seat in the Rajya Sabha elections on the basis of numbers, but BJP fielded an independent candidate to spoil the game.
Hooda said that the votes of Congress MLAs were wrongly invalidated, which is murder of democracy. He also claimed that the party knows the names of the MLAs who cross-voted and the information has been given to the high command.

Although Hooda has refused to make the names public yet, he indicated that all the names will be revealed with action in 2-3 days.
After this entire incident, the internal strife in Haryana Congress has come to the fore and the political conflict is likely to intensify in the coming days.
