Latest News :- Congress has alleged, “Information has come to light that Ajit Pawar negotiated crores of rupees to get two MLAs of our party to join his Nationalist Congress Party. Elections are to be held on 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra on November 20. Currently, the BJP-Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena-Ajit Pawar-led NCP alliance is in power in Maharashtra.

In contrast, the Congress-Sarath Pawar-led NCP-Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena alliance is in the fray. While Congress had released the first list of 48 candidates last Thursday, the second phase list of 23 candidates was released yesterday. In this matter, Maharashtra Congress President Ramesh Chennithala has accused Ajit Pawar of negotiating crores of rupees to buy his party's MLAs.

He further said that information has come to light that Ajit Pawar has held talks with the MLAs of our party to include them in his party. Giving and taking bribe is a crime. Why is the Chief Minister of Maharashtra silent on this issue? It is the responsibility of the Chief Minister to tell the truth to the people.
