Congress counterattacks Kejriwal’s education model, Sukhjinder says Punjab has already become the country’s number one state

Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said- Punjab’s education system was improved during the time of Congress government.

Chandigarh. Political rhetoric has intensified between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress on the issue of education in Punjab. Senior Congress leader and MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has questioned the claim of Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in which the AAP government is being given credit for major changes in the education sector in Punjab.

Sharing a post on social media platform He said that at that time there was Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi too, but despite this Delhi lagged behind Punjab in terms of education performance. The Congress leader claimed that Punjab had maintained its strong position even in the year 2021-22. According to MP Randhawa, for the third consecutive year, Punjab stood second in the country with 647.4 points, while Chandigarh was at the top with 659 points. Randhawa says that these figures clearly show that reforms in the education system of Punjab had started during the time of the Congress government.

MP Randhawa has given a lesson to Arvind Kejriwal and said that instead of political propaganda, talk should be done on the basis of facts. Randhawa wrote, “Arvind Kejriwal ji, speaks facts, not propaganda.”

This statement of Congress has come at a time when Aam Aadmi Party is presenting the work done in the education and health sectors in Punjab as its major achievements. At the same time, Congress is continuously claiming that the strong foundation of the education sector in Punjab was laid during the tenure of its government. This political debate that started between the two parties regarding education may intensify in the coming times, because the issues of education and development remain major election topics in the politics of Punjab.
