Congress fires at Modi government on US Finance Minister’s statement, says – ‘The self-proclaimed leader with a 56-inch chest has become a coward and a compromiser’

New Delhi. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh on Saturday intensified his attacks on the Modi government, citing a recent statement by US Finance Minister Scott Bessant. He has been seriously accused of being ‘cowardly and compromising’.

Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh shared a video clip of the interview given by US Finance Minister Scott Bessant to ‘Fox News’, in which he said that at the behest of America, India had stopped buying oil from Russia, but due to lack of availability of oil worldwide, India has been given ‘permission to buy oil’ from Russia for the time being.

The US Treasury Secretary has given the Modi government its certificate for faithfully following President Trump’s orders!
