Congress created a storm in pursuit of beautiful dream of power! Digvijay Singh had to clarify on praising RSS-BJP – see VIDEO

Party’s decision regarding organizational restructuring of Congress in Madhya Pradesh Senior leader Digvijay Singh kept his point. He said that whenever appointments are made, it is natural for 25-30 percent people to be unhappy because everyone has their own ambitions. But it is nothing that has made a big difference. This process has been done correctly. We will not be satisfied until our organization reaches the booth level and village level.”

Regarding the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting held today, Digvijay Singh said, “Whatever I had to say, I have said it.” Clarifying on his tweet sharing the old picture of LK Advani and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Digvijay Singh said, “I have been saying from the beginning that I am opposed to the ideology of RSS. They neither respect the Constitution nor the laws of the country, and it is an unregistered organization. But I admire their organizational ability, because an organization which is not even registered has become so powerful that the Prime Minister says from the Red Fort that it is the biggest NGO in the world. If this is an NGO, then where are your rules and regulations? But I praise their organizational ability.”

Talking about the organizational capacity of Congress, he said, ‘All I can say is that there is always scope for improvement and there should be scope for improvement in every organization. Congress Party is basically a movement party. I have said many times that the Congress Party is a party of movement and it should remain like that. But we lag behind in converting that movement into votes.

He wrote in his post, “Rahul Gandhi ji, you are absolutely ‘bang on’ in social and economic matters. Full marks. But now please look at @INCIndia also… The only problem is that it is not easy to ‘convince’ you.” His statement proved to be uncomfortable for the Congress, because even before this many party leaders had expressed dissatisfaction with organizational decisions.

BJP got a chance to attack

After Digvijay Singh’s remarks, BJP fiercely targeted the Congress leadership. BJP leaders said that Congress talks about democracy in the country, but the condition of democracy within the party itself is now in front of everyone. The controversy deepened when Digvijay Singh shared an old photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the 1990s in another post. In the picture, PM Modi is seen sitting on the ground near senior BJP leader LK Advani. In this post, Digvijay Singh wrote that “This is the strength of the organization… grassroots workers of RSS and Jan Sangh become Chief Ministers and Prime Ministers.” However, later clarifying, he said that he had only praised the organizational structure and even today he is a staunch opponent of BJP and RSS.

What is the real reason for dissatisfaction within Congress?

There is discussion in political circles that Digvijay Singh’s resentment is not only ideological but also organizational. According to sources, even after the appointment of state presidents, committees are not being formed at the state level, due to which centralization of power remains. Apart from this, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari and Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar are considered against the Digvijay camp, which has further increased the internal tussle. Sources say that Digvijay Singh’s Rajya Sabha tenure is ending next year and the chances of being sent to Rajya Sabha for the third time are less. Names like Kamal Nath and Meenakshi Natarajan are in discussion for his seat.

However, many leaders believe that Digvijay Singh is more worried about the political future of his son Jaivardhan Singh, who is currently an MLA in Madhya Pradesh and has recently been made the district president, than his politics. After Digvijay Singh’s statement, the demand for KC Venugopal’s role as Organization General Secretary in the party and giving bigger responsibility to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has also intensified. Questions are being raised whether Congress will now introspect or will these voices of dissatisfaction become louder.
