New Delhi, 27 December 2025: Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson and MP Sudhanshu Trivedi has organized a press conference and attacked Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party. BJP has alleged that Rahul Gandhi is part of the ‘Global Progressive Alliance’ which is associated with anti-India activities. According to BJP, Congress is now trying to gain power in the country with the help of foreign powers.
Citing Sam Pitroda’s recent statement, Sudhanshu Trivedi said, “Pitroda has accepted that the Congress Party is a part of the Global Progressive Alliance and Rahul Gandhi is its co-chairman. The purpose behind Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Germany was also to participate in this alliance.” BJP questioned, has Congress now become an official member of the anti-India global alliance?
Referring to George Soros, BJP said that on January 23, 2020, in Davos, Soros had announced a fund of 1 million dollars to defeat nationalist forces and target PM Modi. Despite meeting people associated with Soros, Sam Pitroda says that it does not matter to him. BJP asked, “Under whose pressure does Rahul Gandhi go abroad and why does he give statements in anti-India organizations?”
Rahul Gandhi had raised objections about not meeting Russian President Putin, to which BJP said that the visit is decided not only by the host country but also by the guest country. Additionally, BJP has also claimed that the organization in Germany where Rahul Gandhi made his anti-India statement is banned in Russia.
Taking a dig at the organizational weakness of Congress, Sudhanshu Trivedi said, “The condition of Congress is like that of a batsman who never does net practice (training in organizational meetings) and when he gets out in the match, he questions the umpire.” He added that seeing the possibilities of gaining power in the country vanishing, Rahul Gandhi is now seeking the help of anti-India forces.
