He says that Mumbai is considered the real home of cricket and in such a situation, a big match like the final should be hosted by that city. Dalwai said, “Plans are being made to hold the final in Ahmedabad, whereas this should not happen. The semi-finals should be held there, but the final should be held in Mumbai.”

In his statement he also took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “Modi ji proves to be unlucky. We have lost there once, do we need to repeat the same experience again?” This statement of Dalwai is also being seen from a political perspective, because he has directly raised questions on the possible plan of holding the final in Ahmedabad.
