Congress MLA Atif Akil’s demand, government should declare cow as national animal, Rameshwar Sharma welcomed, gave this suggestion

In Madhya Pradesh, once again the demand for declaring cow as the national animal has started rising, the special thing is that this time a Muslim MLA of Congress has raised it, he has put an unofficial resolution in the Assembly regarding this, his demand has been welcomed by BJP.

Atif Akil, Congress MLA from the North Assembly of the capital Bhopal, has put forward a private resolution in the budget session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, in this resolution he has demanded to declare the cow as the national animal. Apart from this, the Congress MLA has also demanded to stop the cremation of the cow and the leather trade.

Targeted at BJP government

Atif Akil said that in 2017, my father, former minister Arif Akil, had also given a resolution when there was BJP government but this resolution could not be passed due to lack of majority. He said that this shows that there is a lot of difference between the words and actions of BJP.

Rameshwar Sharma welcomed, also taunted

BJP welcomed Atif Akil’s demand and also gave him a suggestion. BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma said that I respect his sentiment and thank him, but he should go to the mosques and get this resolution passed there too. He suggested that all the Muslims in the mosque should decide at the time of Namaz that the cow will not be allowed to be slaughtered at any cost and on the same day the cow will automatically be declared the national animal. It is not right to bring such unofficial resolution for publicity.
