Congress won 6 seats in Bihar, now why did they expel 7 leaders?
Amidst the turmoil in Bihar Congress, the party took a big and strict step on Monday night. Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee expelled seven rebel leaders from the party for six years. The primary membership of these rebel leaders was also abolished. Just a few days ago, Bihar Congress had issued show cause notice to 43 leaders. They are accused of being involved in anti-party activities and indiscipline during the elections. On Monday itself, all the leaders sent their replies to the party. Shortly thereafter, news of the eviction came.
On the answers of the remaining leaders, the disciplinary committee said that their answers were not satisfactory. The party accused the rebel leaders of making misleading statements outside the party forums, violating the decorum of the organization and deliberately disobeying the instructions of the competent party officials. The party said that these leaders made baseless allegations of ticket robbery in print and social media. Criticized the party’s decisions a lot. His statements hurt the reputation of the party.

Let us tell you that the rebel leaders of Bihar had accused their seniors of selling tickets and said that the senior leaders of the state Congress will have to take the responsibility of the defeat in the elections. Now the disciplinary committee said that the candidates were selected in a transparent manner with the consent of central observer Avinash Pandey after review by the observers, State Election Committee and All India Congress Committee. The order to expel the seven rebel leaders was issued by Kapildev Prasad Yadav, Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of Bihar Congress.

Rebels have also staged a protest in Patna
Congress had contested elections on 60 seats in Bihar. But the party won only six seats. After the disappointing performance, voices of rebellion were raised in the party. A faction of 43 party leaders had accused senior state Congress leaders of ignoring grassroots workers and selling tickets. On Friday, rebel leaders had also staged a protest in Patna. In this, the rebel leaders of Congress also raised slogans of ‘Ticket Chor Gaddi Chhod’. Bihar Mahila Congress Committee President Sharbat Jahan Fatima has also resigned from her post. It is being told that she was angry at not getting the ticket.
