Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has refused to accept any kind of money from the Adani Group. He said, amid corruption allegations against Adani, the Congress government of Telangana has decided that we will not take the donation of Rs 100 crore given by them for the skill development of the youth.

Let us tell you that earlier in America, industrialist Gautam Adani and seven others have been accused of bribing Indian government officials to get contracts related to solar energy. Adani Group has denied the allegations, calling them baseless.

It is noteworthy that, on October 18, Gautam Adani had handed over a check of Rs 100 crore to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for the establishment of Young India Skill University. Telangana Chief Minister's Office had given this information by posting on X. After this news came to light, the opposition parties of the state strongly criticized the Congress. The BJP and Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) had accused the Congress of hypocrisy in the Adani case. Taking a dig at the Congress, BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya said, “Despite Rahul Gandhi shouting 'Adani Adani' all day, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy goes ahead and accepts 'donation' from Gautam Adani.”
