Additional Collector-cum-District Supply Officer Anil Kumar Sinha said that at present 23430 domestic gas cylinders of 14.2 kg and 1522 commercial gas cylinders of 19 kg are available in the district. The district administration is continuously monitoring the gas supply system to maintain its smooth functioning, so that consumers do not face any kind of problem. He said that during the last 24 hours, a total of 11162 gas cylinders have been successfully home delivered across the district.
The administration is trying to ensure timely supply of gas cylinders to all consumers and ensure that there is no hindrance in the distribution system. Additional Collector-cum-District Supply Officer said that 4 complaints received related to gas supply have been sent to the concerned sub-divisional officers and instructions have been given to take immediate action. Regular monitoring of the execution of these complaints is also being done, so that prompt resolution of consumers’ problems can be ensured.
The district administration has appealed to the common citizens that in case of any delay, irregularity or complaint related to gas booking, delivery or supply, they can contact the district control room on telephone numbers 06254-247002 and 06254-247003 and register their complaint.
