The process of construction of greenfield four-lane road on Buxar-Chausa section of Buxar-Chausa-Mohaniya National Highway (NH-319A) has been expedited. It is expected that soon the construction work of this much awaited project will start on the ground, which will bring good news to many districts.

New bypass to Buxar and Chausa

The proposed four-lane road will not only modernize NH-319A but will also act as a new bypass for Buxar and Chausa city. This will remove the pressure of heavy vehicles from the cities and the local people will get a lot of convenience in transportation. Necessary preparations have almost been completed by the construction agency.

speed up demarcation work

According to the district administration, demarcation of more than four kilometers of area has been completed in Ahiroli, Jaso, Pandeypatti and Rahsichak Mauza. The administration claims that the demarcation work up to a length of about 12 kilometers will be completed in the coming week. Many ryots had not already planted Kharif crops on the land acquired under the estimate, which has facilitated the progress of the work.

post harvest construction

The administration is waiting for the paddy crop to be harvested to speed up road construction. As crops are being harvested in the acquired fields, the land is being taken over and demarcated. An appeal has been made to the farmers not to plant the next crop on these lands and to submit the necessary documents for compensation payment to the land acquisition office as soon as possible. For this, special camps are also being organized in various places, so that the ryots do not face any problem.

Second phase of NH-319A

Buxar–Chausa–Mohaniya NH-319A is being developed as an alternative to Ara–Mohaniya NH-319. Through this route, travel between Mohania, Buxar and Arrah will be easy and fast.
