Contribution of women is important in the development of Indian agriculture: Dr. D.K. Singh

Bureau Prayagraj. Women have an important contribution in Indian agriculture. Be it planting or sowing of crops, harvesting, weeding or animal husbandry, women have made an important contribution in all fields. The above things were said by Dr. D.K.Singh, Principal Motilal Nehru Farmers Training Institute Cordet IFFCO Phulpur as the chief guest of village Purefouzshah, V.Kh. Somewhere during Kisan Chaupal organized in Bahria, Prayagraj.

Addressing the gathering, he said that IFFCO’s nano fertilizers which are bringing positive revolutionary changes in the agriculture sector must be used. The Principal introduced the present farmer participants to the activities of Cardet and IFFCO and gave detailed information about the use of Nano Urea Plus, Nano Copper, Nano Zinc, and Nano DAP in paddy crop. Similarly, training in-charge Mukesh Tiwari gave information about the benefits of soil testing of fields and the method of taking soil samples and gave information about the use of bio-fertilizers and bio-decomposers in agriculture.

At the end of the program, blankets were also distributed to the needy people present to protect them from cold. Mrs. Kamini Singh of Purefouzshah Farmer Producer Organization expressed her gratitude. Doodhnath, Vivek Kumar Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Suresh, Kamini Singh and others were present in the program.
