New Delhi New Delhi: A new controversy has arisen after Tejashwi Yadav of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) made controversial remarks about minorities in the country. Tejashwi said, “If anyone tries to cast an evil eye on our Muslim brothers, RJD and Tejashwi Yadav will not keep quiet.” He further said, “We will respond with full force.” This comes when the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar is actively involved in campaigning for the upcoming assembly elections in Jharkhand. Yadav released this video statement during his visit to Chatra from Ranchi for the nomination of RJD's Chatra candidate. In his video, the RJD leader also sharply criticized the comments of Union Minister Giriraj Singh and Araria BJP MP Pradeep Singh. He issued a stern warning to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, accusing BJP leaders of trying to incite communal tension and violence. It all started when BJP MP Pradeep Kumar Singh said during the 'Hindu Swabhiman Yatra' recently, “If you want to live in Araria, you will have to become a Hindu.” The MP advised people to keep caste and family in mind while getting married, but keep Hindu unity above all else.
In a video, Singh is heard asking why anyone feels ashamed to call himself a Hindu. He said, “We say, if you want to live in Araria, you have to become a Hindu. When it comes to marrying your son or daughter, take care of caste, but when it comes to unity of Hindus, So first become a Hindu, then look at caste.”
