Talking about his acting journey, Ranveer said, 'I think there was a time when we did not do drama even in school, we used to hesitate, but now that shyness has gone away.
He said that the 'grey character' played by him gives him an opportunity to explore himself, which he cannot do in normal life. A scene in this film, in which Kareena Kapoor had to slap Ranveer, was quite challenging. Ranveer laughingly said, 'Kareena had to slap me and I had to turn my neck at the right time so that the slap looked real. Kareena wanted to do this slap scene without touching and this scene had to be retaked 15 times, but finally we shot it properly. About working with Kareena, Ranveer said, 'She is from the family of cinema, acting is in her blood. His spontaneity and understanding of the story is amazing.

Even on the sets of the film, Ranveer spread the magic of his cooking skills. He told that we had a party last. After the shooting was over, he prepared everything from tihari, dal and 50-60 kg chicken for the entire crew. This was a special experience for him because cooking and the passion for feeding people is his second love.

Ranveer said that he likes cooking at home too, but he is rarely allowed to cook at home because his family members want him to eat food prepared by them. He said laughingly, 'I get to cook only three times a month, although the food prepared by my wife and mother tastes very delicious. Regarding his son's choice, he said that he likes pizza very much and is happy in it. It happens.

Ranveer's talk cannot be complete without mentioning the flavors of Lucknow. They say that tasting and enjoying the special dishes of Lucknow in winter is a different thing. He says that his mother has a special fondness for the food of Lucknow. He said, 'In winters, there is a different pleasure in black carrot halwa, butter cream, paper samosas with Kashmiri tea.
