Costco Just Recalled a Popular Bakery Item

There’s a recall on a popular bakery item sold at Costco warehouses, according to a recent company announcement. This is due to a foreign matter contamination.

The product affected is the Butter Croissants sold at the bakery. Specifically, the impacted croissants have sell-by dates ranging from September 8, 2024, through November 10, 2024. The croissants are being recalled as the salt used to make the croissant may potentially contain metal pieces.

The retailer is concerned that this baked good may still be in shoppers’ kitchens. If you have this recalled product on hand, return it to your local Costco for a full refund. If you are experiencing any illness or injury after consuming the affected croissants, contact your health care provider immediately.

For questions about this recall, call 1-800-955-2292 Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. PST.
