‘Could have cut off fingers…’, what did Kalyan Banerjee say on CEC Gyanesh Kumar?

Trinamool Congress leader Kalyan Banerjee has said something about Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, which has created an uproar in West Bengal. He has said that if Gyanesh Kumar had not been the Election Commissioner, he would have cut off his finger. Kalyan Banerjee alleges that the Election Commissioner has misbehaved with Chief Minister Banerjee.
 
Kalyan Banerjee was addressing Trinamool Congress workers on Friday. He has given this objectionable statement. He has said that the Election Commission and BJP together are snatching away the rights of the voters of West Bengal.

TMC is protesting against SIR

West Bengal’s ruling party Trinamool Congress is opposing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) being conducted by the Election Commission. TMC alleges that people’s names are being arbitrarily removed from the voter list. The party has taken to the streets against this.

Kalyan Banerjee is a serial offender. From insulting the Vice President of India, the Speaker, by breaking glass inside the Joint Parliamentary Committee, to the Chief Justice of India for his decision on Rohingya, he always keeps attacking constitutional positions and those who talk about the Constitution.

On Kalyan Banerjee’s statement, BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala said, ‘TMC continuously threatens people holding constitutional posts. He has given such threats to everyone from BLOs to Election Commissioner, be it Firhad Hakim, Mamata Banerjee, Abhishek Banerjee or Kalyan Banerjee. They have attacked ED team, CBI team, NIA team, Parliament members and women of Sandeshkhali.
