Could war break out again? Donald Trump is sending troops to remove explosive mines from Hormuz.

New Delhi. Following the failure of peace talks with Iran in Islamabad, US President Donald Trump has taken a step that has increased the possibility of a fierce war between the two sides. Opening the Strait of Hormuz has now become a matter of prestige for Trump. Therefore, he has prepared to send his army to open the Strait of Hormuz. If this happens, a devastating war could erupt between Iran and the US in Hormuz.

America is sending troops to Hormuz for the first time.
The US military said that two of its destroyer warships have passed through the crucial waterway of the Strait of Hormuz. This is the first time since the war began that America is preparing to clear explosive mines that have been laid by Iran in the sea to open the Strait of Hormuz. Trump said, “We are clearing the Strait. Whether there is a deal or not, it doesn’t matter to me.” This statement was made during the talks that continued till Sunday morning. However, Iran’s state media has denied opening the Strait of Hormuz, quoting the country’s joint military command.

Iran will never retreat from Hormuz.
Iran has clearly said that it will never retreat from Hormuz. Iran says that the movement of ships of any country through Hormuz will happen only on Tehran’s conditions. This could lead to a major war between Iran and America in Hormuz. Till now, closing the Strait of Hormuz by Iran had proved to be its biggest strategic advantage in the war. The main reason for this is that more than 20 percent of the oil of different countries of the world passes through this route. More than 100 ships used to come and go here every day. After the ceasefire, till now the passage of only 12 ships has been recorded.

Trump said – America is busy clearing the Strait of Hormuz.
On Saturday, Trump wrote on social media that the US has begun the process of “clearing” the Strait. Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of US Central Command, later said, “Today we have begun the process of creating a new safe passage and we will soon inform the maritime industry of this safe passage.” The US statement further said, “In the coming days, additional US forces, including underwater drones, will join the mine-clearing effort.”

Iran said – ready to give a befitting reply if attacked again.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that Tehran is ready to give a befitting reply if his country is attacked again. Earlier, he had said that due to the attacks on Iran during the last round of talks, Tehran is entering the talks with “deep distrust” because America is not trustworthy. Araghchi said that his country is ready to retaliate if attacked again.

Iran and the US had set their conditions.
It should be noted that before the talks, Iran had put forward a 10-point proposal, which included a guarantee of a permanent end to the war and maintaining control over the Strait of Hormuz. It also demanded a halt to hostilities against Iran’s “regional allies” and an immediate end to Israeli attacks on Hezbollah. The US’s 15-point proposal focused on imposing restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program and reopening the Strait.
