Akash Deep Marriage Akshita Raj: Indian cricket team’s star fast bowler Akashdeep has started a new and very beautiful innings of his life. On Wednesday, Akashdeep got married to his fiancee Akshita Raj in the sacred and historical land of Kashi.

Five star hotel ‘Taj Gangej’ located in Nadesar, Varanasi. This royal Manglik wedding ceremony held in 2017 was completely a unique amalgamation of traditions and modern grandeur. Akashdeep had reached the hotel with a marriage procession from Bihar at around 7.30 pm.

This grand and royal wedding ceremony was worth watching. The main mandap specially designed for this wedding was decorated with a ‘Shiv temple theme’ in keeping with the glory of Baba Vishwanath’s city. But it was decorated very beautifully. Keeping special care of security and privacy, entry of all guests at the main gate of the hotel was done only after scanning the mandatory digital QR code. About 300 to 350 special guests from India and abroad and from the sports world had reached Varanasi to participate in this luxurious ceremony.

Married just 4 days after becoming DSP

Let us tell you that both Akashdeep and Akshita Raj are residents of Sasaram, Bihar. The special thing about this marriage was that just four days before the marriage i.e. on 19 June 2026, the Bihar government had given Akashdeep the important post of DSP from sports quota.

In this way, double happiness came simultaneously in the player’s house. There were also royal arrangements for food and drinks for the guests at this high-profile wedding, where each thali served was said to cost around Rs 4500.

On this special occasion of double happiness, Akashdeep received blessings from many great spiritual personalities of the country. Before the wedding rituals, Akashdeep had talked to Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri and Jagadguru Rambhadracharya of Bageshwar Dham on video call.
