“I am deeply saddened by the latest reports of civilian casualties due to Pakistani airstrikes in Kabul. Targeting civilian homes, educational institutions or medical facilities—whether deliberately or accidentally—is a war crime. Will increase.”

Khan further wrote, “I call on the United Nations and other human rights agencies to thoroughly investigate this latest atrocity and hold its perpetrators accountable. I stand with our Afghan people in this difficult time. We will overcome this shock, and as a nation we will rise again. We have always done so. Inshallah.”
