Palash Muchhal is in trouble! Smriti Mandhana’s friend accused of embezzling money, commented on caste, FIR registered

Palash Muchhal: The troubles of Palash Muchhal, brother of famous Bollywood singer Palak Muchhal, are not showing any signs of ending. After the cancellation of his marriage with cricketer Smriti Mandhana, he now seems to be in legal trouble. Mandhana’s friend has filed an FIR against her for grabbing money and abusing caste based abuses.

What is the whole matter?

Smriti Mandhana’s friend Vigyan Mane has lodged an FIR against Palash in Sangli, Maharashtra. Mane alleges that Palash used caste based abuses and treated him humiliatingly. According to Aaj Tak’s report, Smriti Mandhana’s childhood friend Vigyan Mane (34 years) lives in Sangli. He has alleged that Palash took Rs 25 lakh from him for investing in a film named ‘Nazariya’. Was also offered a role in the film. He told the police that he had promised to return the investment amount and profits after the release of the film. At the same time, Mane also said that the film was never made.

‘Caste based abuses were used’

Mane said in the complaint that when I asked for money from Palash, he kept postponing it for days and months. At first Palash kept postponing to return the money, then refused to return it. Also said that there is no outstanding amount on them. Along with this, Mane alleged that on November 22, 2025, when he asked Palash for money at the farmhouse in Sangli, Palash misbehaved with him and used caste based abuses.

What did the police say?

The police have registered a case on the basis of Vigyan Mane’s allegation. DSP Sandeep Bhagwat has confirmed this. He said that the complaint has been officially registered. A case has been registered on charges of outstanding amount of Rs 25 lakh and caste insult.
