In a shocking incident, a woman helped her husband in raping an 11-year-old girl and even threatened her to keep quiet. The incident took place in a village of Nazirabad police station area of ​​Bhopal district.

Police said that an FIR has been registered and the accused husband and his wife have been arrested. He is being interrogated further in this regard. The family of the victim and the accused earn their living by doing odd jobs and know each other.

Although not relatives, the victim and her brother called the accused woman their sister and visited her house frequently. TI Krishna Thakur of Nazirabad police station said that accused Vinay Singh Ahirwar reached the victim's house on Monday. Vinay took the victim to his home saying that his wife was not well.

It is alleged that Vinay took the victim inside the room and raped her, while his wife Poona Bai closed the door from outside. TI said that after this both of them threatened the victim to remain silent or face consequences.

The victim's family came to know about the incident when she reached home on Tuesday, following which they contacted the police. Accused Vinay Singh and his wife are 20 years old and are childless.

Police officials said Vinay's wife is being interrogated to find out why she helped her husband in raping the minor. Officials said all angles, including revenge, sexual perversion or witchcraft, were being investigated.
