Criticism prompts Varun to delete LinkedIn account

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan deleted his account on professional networking platform LinkedIn just 4 days after it was created.

According to Indian media, Varun Dhawan, who started his career with Karan Johar’s film Student of the Year, created an account on the professional networking platform LinkedIn on Thursday.

However, his account disappeared from the platform within just 4 days.

Indian media reports said that Varun Dhawan faced heavy flak from social media users for describing himself as a hard-working actor with 300-crore mega-hit films in his LinkedIn account profile bio.

Varun Dhawan wrote in his LinkedIn bio that after working in the film industry for more than a decade, I have had the opportunity to learn a lot about hard work, the importance of teamwork.

Varun’s LinkedIn profile introduces himself as an actor, investor, and assistant director.

Varun deleted his LinkedIn account after criticism from users.

As the news of Varun Dhawan joining LinkedIn went viral on social media, he was also criticized by users.

One user wrote that ‘Varun is leaving LinkedIn like the rest of us’, while another wrote that now he too will have to send his CV.

Also, a user wrote that here now Varun will also tell everyone about the hardships he had to go through being David Dhawan’s son.
