Crystal Palace-linked Sage leaves French club RC Lens
Pierre Sage is poised to step down as Lens coach, a source close to the Ligue 1 club told AFP on Wednesday, amid reports he is set to take over at Crystal Palace.
Sage led Lens to a second-placed finish this season behind Paris Saint-Germain and the club’s first French Cup triumph in its 120-year history.
The 47-year-old spent just one season at Lens, with his only other top-level coaching stint at Lyon.

According to French media, he could move to the Premier League to replace Oliver Glasner at Palace.
Austrian Glasner had announced earlier in the season that he would depart at the end of the season and signed off with victory in the UEFA Conference League final against Freiburg.
