CSK gets new fielding coach
Sports Sports: Former England player James Foster will be made the new fielding coach of CSK.
It is reported that Stephen Fleming will remain the head coach of CSK this season also.
CSK has won the IPL title five times. Ruturaj Gaikwad became the new captain after Dhoni.
CSK played very poorly last season. The young player joined the CSK team and played well in the last part of the season.
Now, former England player James Foster has debuted as a fielding coach. He has played 7 Tests, 11 ODIs and 5 T20Is for England.
In a recent interview, CSK CEO Kasi Vishwanathan said, “We are looking for a fielding coach. We are hopeful that he will join the team.”
James Foster was previously the fielding coach of KKR and has also worked for Desert Vipers, Northern Superchargers and Peshawar Zalmi. Michael Hussey is the batting coach, Eric Simmons is the bowling coach, Siddharth Sriram is the assistant bowling coach and Russell Radhakrishnan is the team manager.
CSK team has started its training. It is reported that Shivam Dubey and Sanju Samson will join the team after completing the T20 World Cup.
It is reported that this time IPL matches will be held in two phases.
While it was rumored that former CSK player Suresh Raina would be the batting coach, reports suggest that Michael Hussey will remain.
