“I entered into marriage at a young age, when I didn’t fully understand myself, my worth, or the life I truly wanted to build. The years that followed have yielded lessons I never expected, and have spent the last fifteen months in the courts, learning patience, tolerance, and the power that comes from the truth,” Chahar wrote in a social media post.
Spinner further revealed that the legal process has reached its conclusion. “After the legal process, the matter settled with my settlement, which ended this phase. I close this chapter not with hatred or regret, but with clarity,” he added.
Chahar also said that he is moving forward with a new perspective of self-awareness and purpose. He described this relationship as an experience that awakened and changed him, even though it was not forever.

Focus on IPL 2026 with Chennai Super Kings
With his personal life entering a new phase, Chahar is all set to focus solely on cricket as Indian Premier League (IPL) The 2026 session is round the corner. The tournament is expected to be held between March and May.
Chahar will wear the iconic yellow jersey after being bought by CSK for Rs 5.20 crore in the IPL 2026 mini auction. Interestingly, he went unsold in the first auction before the franchise secured him in the accelerated rounds. He was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the auction.
Over the years, the leg-break bowler has represented Rising Pune Supergiant, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. In 79 matches, Chahar has taken 75 wickets at an average of 28.66, which shows his ability to pick wickets at crucial moments in the middle overs.
