CSK vs GT match prediction: Who will win Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans IPL 2026 match 37?
The 37th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) will see Chennai Super Kings taking on wounded Gujarat Titans at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday, April 26.
It is a crucial mid-table clash with both sides looking to move up the points table.
CSK vs GT match preview
CSK are coming into this clash with a commanding win over their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians and they will be expecting to repeat the same. Currently placed fifth on the points table with three wins in seven games, they are still not at their best and have had a mixed campaign so far.
Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad’s form remains a concern. With Ayush Mhatre absent, the responsibility now lies heavily on Sanju Samson, who smashed a century in the previous clash. On the bowling front, CSK were clinical in the last game with Akeal Hosein doing a great job. At home, CSK will be looking to repeat that performance again.
Coming to Gujarat, they have now lost back-to-back games before arriving in Chennai. Despite a century in the previous match by Sai Sudharsan, their bowling lacked control as the opposition chased down the total with ease.
Led by Shubman Gill, their middle and lower order have been serious concerns. Gill has been in good touch but now needs to take more responsibility. The story is quite similar for Jos Buttler as well.
In the bowling department, Kagiso Rabada has been impressive with pace. But senior players like Rashid Khan need to come up with better plans and execute them well.
CSK vs GT head-to-head record

CSK vs GT key players
Sanju Samson – The workhorse of CSK’s batting lineup this season with 293 runs in seven games. His role becomes even more important with Ayush Mhatre ruled out.
Shubman Gill – The GT skipper has been phenomenal with 297 runs in seven games. Gujarat will once again rely heavily on him.
Akeal Hosein – He dismantled Mumbai Indians in the previous game with four wickets. His ability to bowl in the powerplay and control the middle overs makes him vital.
Kagiso Rabada – Rabada has picked up 10 wickets so far. He has been bowling with serious pace, touching 150 km/h, but control remains an issue. With his experience, he needs to step up.

CSK vs GT match prediction
CSK have been a strong side at their home venue over the years. Even this season, they have managed to win two matches here and it remains a tough place for visiting teams. Given their recent form and confidence, they look like the better side.
GT still has the capability to beat CSK. They have the firepower in both batting and bowling. But they need to come up with better plans and execute them properly.
