CSK’s Raina Lights Up LLC 2024 with Classic Hits

Suresh Rainathe former Indian captain, showcased his batting prowess in the Legends League Cricket 2024 (LLC), reminding fans of his IPL days. Leading Ultimate Toyam Hyderabad, Raina played a crucial role in their match against Gujarat Greats.

Raina came to the crease with Hyderabad in a precarious position, having lost three early wickets. Despite the pressure, he played a brilliant innings, scoring 44 runs off 27 deliveries. His innings included five fours and two sixes.

Hyderabad managed to post a total of 172/7 thanks to Raina’s contribution and a late cameo from Peter Trego. Liam Plunkett was the pick of the bowlers for Gujarat, claiming two wickets.

In response, Gujarat’s opener, Morne van Wyk, smashed a sensational century to guide his team to victory. Van Wyk remained unbeaten on 115 runs from 69 deliveries.

The Legends League Cricket provides a platform for retired cricketers to stay fit and continue playing the game. Raina’s performance was a highlight of the match and a testament to his enduring talent.
