CUET UG 2026 Exam: CUET-UG 2026 exam postponed due to Bakrid holiday, NTA issued notice

New Delhi, 25 May. National Testing Agency has released a major update regarding Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026. In view of the change in the date of Bakrid (Eid-ul-Zuha) holiday, the examination to be held on May 28 has been postponed. The public notice issued by NTA said that as per the office memorandum of the Department of Personnel and Training dated May 22, the date of holiday of Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) has been changed.

In view of this, the CUET (UG) 2026 examination to be held on May 28 in both shifts has been postponed for the time being. NTA said that new exam dates for the affected candidates will be announced soon. The agency has advised students to regularly keep an eye on the official website of NTA and CUET website. For any kind of information or assistance, candidates can contact NTA helpdesk number 011-40759000 or can also send their problem through email.

Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency has started the refund process for the candidates who appeared in the canceled NEET-UG 2026 examination. Students can now get refund of the examination fee by visiting the official website and submitting their bank details. According to the notification issued by NTA, the refund option has been activated on the NEET-UG 2026 registration portal. Candidates who have registered for the examination can login using their application credentials and visit the refund link to complete the process.

To get the refund, candidates will have to provide necessary information related to the bank account. NTA has clarified that once the bank details are submitted, no changes or corrections can be made in it. Therefore, candidates have been advised to check all the information carefully. The last date for submitting bank details for the refund process has been fixed as May 27 at 11:50 pm.
