Culinary Class Wars: Massive debate ignites online due to stringent eatery policies

A new dispute has emerged concerning a number of upscale eateries owned by chefs who rose to popularity on the hit Netflix series Culinary Class Wars.

Following the revelation that several of the upscale restaurants operated by well-known competitors from Culinary Class Wars bar children from entering, the argument got underway. Online,  Koreans became significantly divided as a result of the news. Some contend that the legislation is discriminatory, while others support it, citing the nature of fine dining and eating establishments as grounds for the restriction.

While not all premium restaurants have stringent “No Kids Zone” restrictions, one social media user sparked controversy by pointing out that eateries run by top contestants, such as Napoli Matfia and Cooking Maniac, do.

The discussion also brought attention to eateries that openly accept children but require families to eat in private areas, such as One Two Three’s restaurant.

Fine dining, according to the restriction’s proponents, is frequently connected to pricey dinners, mature discourse, and a requirement for a calm setting. They contend that “No Kids Zones” serve patrons looking for a more upscale, tranquil setting. Critics counter that these policies are discriminatory and leave out a wider range of people, particularly families who want to eat well.
