Meanwhile, Congress MP Digvijay Singh said, I congratulate National President Mallikarjun Kharge ji. The Congress Party conference was held on December 26, 1924. Today he is completing 100 years. Remembering that day, a meeting of Congress Working Committee has been called in Belagavi. At that time there were forces in the country which made people fight, even today the same ideology is in control of the entire country.
He said, Rahul ji had undertaken a journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir in 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', in which the slogan was 'Shop of love in the market of hatred'. Today we have gathered in Belagavi against the same hatred to take the message of Mahatma Gandhi to the people.
Pawan Kheda said, some people think that Gandhi is the past of this country. But Gandhi can never be the past of the country, because Gandhi is our past, present and future. Gandhi is far above the geographical boundaries of this country. Gandhi is such a personality that people in the world consider him as their moral compass. It is a matter of great pride for us that Mahatma Gandhi was born in India.
