Before this, Maulana Muhammad Ali was the Congress President. On this occasion, the founder of Seva Dal, Dr. Remembering NS Hardikar, I pay tribute to him. From here, in the history of Congress, the process of ceremonially hoisting the national flag every morning and lowering it in the evening began.

He further said, Gandhiji became Congress President only once for one year. But after this he drew such a long line that it is not possible for any politician to match it. Gandhiji gave a new shape to the Constitution of Congress. Created a strong base for Congress in the hearts of villages, poor, farmers and laborers. Connected the Congress organization to constructive work. The campaign against untouchability and discrimination was included in the main agenda of the Congress. You all should be proud that the Congress Party has the legacy of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. We are his successors.
Also said, in those days, he was hurt by the communal riots happening in cities like Kohat and Gulbarga and expressed his concern, and said, “When quarrels become a normal thing of life, it is called civil war and parties must fight it out.” themselves”. It is a matter of great regret that even after 100 years, today's ruling party and its leaders openly give provocative slogans and its senior leaders are disturbing the harmony in the society and spreading hatred among the communities. They are working to make people fight.
It is from here that Mahatma Gandhi, while giving the message of the importance of unity despite the presence of people of different beliefs in the Congress Party, said that “As long as the minds in the world are different, the opinions will also be different. But we want to take everyone to heart.” Another special feature of the Belgaum session was that for the first time Mahatma Gandhi started a nationwide campaign against untouchability. Made it a part of the national program of Congress. He said that untouchability is one of the biggest obstacles in the path of Swaraj. It is in our interest to do this work as soon as possible. In 1925, Gandhiji went to Kerala and met the Viacom Satyagrahis and supported their demand.
He further said, the party has seen many ups and downs in the journey of the last 140 years. But even today Congress remains dedicated to Gandhiji's principles and stands by his principles in the light of his thoughts. Karnataka is my home state. It was from here that my long political journey began. Today I feel very proud that as Congress President, I have got the opportunity to participate in the commemorations of the great responsibility that Mahatma Gandhi took up 100 years ago. Today, when we are reviving a 100 years old historical moment, the government of Gandhiji's ideas is running in Karnataka. Taking forward the Constitution and democratic values, it is moving forward on the ideas shown by great men like Mahatma Baseshwar, Mahatma Phule and Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar.

Far from accepting apology and resignation from Amit Shah, on the contrary he supported the objectionable statement. The Prime Minister issued a statement in defense of the Home Minister. False case registered against Rahul Gandhi. This is the attitude of today's rulers towards the Constitution and its creator. But we are not afraid of anyone nor will we bow down. We will fight till the last breath for the ideology of Nehru-Gandhi and the honor of Baba Saheb.
BJP people falsely accuse us that we did not respect Baba Saheb. Everyone knows that the statue of Baba Saheb in Parliament was installed by Congress in 1967. Accepting the demand of thousands of workers like me, during the tenure of Indira ji, President Dr. Radhakrishnanji installed the first big statue of Baba Saheb at the main place in the Parliament. That's why I say that BJP-RSS people should stop lying. When the Prime Minister was elected to Parliament for the first time, he bowed his head on the steps of the old Parliament, after which the new Parliament was constructed. We are afraid that this time before taking oath in the new Parliament building, he has bowed before the Constitution. We know, this is his old project. He has criticized the Constitution, the Tricolour, Gandhi, Nehru, Ambedkar and opposed them all. Everyone's effigies have been burnt.
The Preamble of the Constitution keeps being insulted by the people of the ruling party. Constitutional provisions and values are not respected. Constitutional institutions are being controlled, for example, if we look at the Election Commission of India, it appears that they have no respect for the constitutional institutions, they want to capture everything. Therefore we will have to fight this battle continuously.
