Cyber thugs targeted BJP MLA, hacked MLA's WhatsApp and started sending this message to acquaintances
Bulandshahr. Cyber fraudsters have tried to cheat people by posing as BJP MLA Laxmiraj Singh from Secunderabad Assembly seat in Bulandshahr district of UP. MLA Laxmiraj Singh came to know about the matter after receiving calls from people. After which he appealed to the people through social media not to deposit money and also complained about the matter to the SSP. The accused have also hacked his WhatsApp account. SSP has appointed Cyber Cell team to investigate the matter.

Messages are being sent in the name of Secunderabad MLA Laxmiraj Singh to his acquaintances and supporters through WhatsApp since Saturday. In which money is being demanded from his acquaintances posing as MLAs. After which when the calls of some people reached MLA Laxmiraj Singh, he came to know about the matter. Cyber fraudsters hacked the MLA's WhatsApp account. It was said in the message that I am in some trouble, can I get some money. After which some people said that when they called, the smart cyber fraudsters said that they were busy.
MLA Laxmiraj Singh told that he did not know that his WhatsApp account had been hacked. When calls came from many people that someone was asking for money through WhatsApp. Then I complained about it to the SSP. Cyber Crime Team is investigating. SSP Shlok Kumar said that the matter is being investigated. Cyber team has been deployed, soon the smart cyber fraudsters will be identified and further action will be taken.
