On Wednesday, Minister of State Ashish Jaiswal announced that payments will be made in cash from February. It is also said that 5.16 lakh employees and 8.72 lakh pensioners will benefit from this decision of the state government.

This prediction has been made in a survey report on Tuesday. Citing the “Annual Wage Growth and Occupation Survey 2025-26”, global professional services company AON said the projected salary growth of 9.1% this year is slightly higher than the actual growth of 8.9% recorded in 2025. The 32nd edition of AON’s survey is based on an analysis of data from over 1,400 organizations operating in 45 industry sectors across the country.
