‘Daaku Maharaaj’ continues winning streak at both domestic and international box office | Read

Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna’s film, Daaku Maharaaj, continues its winning streak at both the domestic and international box office.


The action film has now gone past a Rs 100 crore gross figure worldwide in seven days. The film’s domestic collection after eight days stands at Rs 78.60 crore, as reported by the trade website Sack girl.

Daaku Maharaaj, which also beat Game Changer and a few other new Sankranti releases down South, collected around Rs 4 crore nett on its second Sunday. The film wrapped its first-week collection at around Rs 66.4 crore nett in India.

The film’s gross domestic earnings are around Rs 89 crore domestically, while it has collected around Rs 16 crore gross from the overseas market, taking the total worldwide gross to around Rs 105 crore after seven days.

While Daaku Maharaaj dominated the box office initially, it faced some competition from Venkatesh Daggubati's film, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which also performed well as the big Sankranti release.

The action-comedy has already surpassed the total worldwide collection of Daaku Maharaaj by earning around Rs 125 crore gross in five days.
