Dalit youth shot dead: Bloody clash over removal of tractor from road in Bhikanpur village of Greater Noida

On Friday morning in Greater Noida, there was a bloody clash between two parties over a dispute over taking out a tractor from the road. In Bhikanpur village of Rabupura, a party attacked the Dalits, in which one person died due to fighting, stone pelting and firing, while the villagers created a ruckus in the police station in protest against the incident. The fire of caste hatred had been burning for a year in the village, where a Dalit youth was murdered a year ago, and the police have registered a case against 14 named and 12 unidentified accused. After the encounter, three named accused have been arrested, which has again become a topic of politics.

Police said that Sheeshpal, a Dalit from Bhikanpur village, was going towards the fields with a tractor at 6.30 am on Friday. It is alleged that the car of a person from another community of the village was parked on the road, so Shishpal asked to remove the car, but there was an argument between the two and when Shishpal's father Vijaypal reached to complain to the accused, they hit him with an iron rod. He hit him and broke his head. The accused also attacked other people who came to save him. Kamal, Shani and Sharbati were injured by bullets, and Kamal died on the way to the hospital.

There was a huge uproar in Bhikanpur village after a bloody conflict between two parties. People of Dalit community surrounded Rabupura police station and protested by shouting slogans for about five hours demanding the arrest of the accused. After this, Additional Police Commissioner Law and Order Shiv Hari Meena reached the spot and pacified the people.

People from the Dalit side who were creating ruckus in the police station made serious allegations against the police. Villagers told that the Dial 112 vehicle, which reached the village on the information of firing, had caught two attackers, who alleged that the police had left them on the way. When the aggrieved party reached the police station with the injured, the police accused them of fighting. The people injured by the bullet continued to suffer for a long time in the police station, but the police was busy suppressing the matter. Later, while taking the injured to the hospital, the police refused to take their families along, due to which the villagers accused the police of colluding with the accused and raised slogans.

Police have registered a case after complaining about the victim's side, Police Commissioner Law and Order Shivhari Meena said. Three accused have been arrested during the encounter and the police is conducting raids in search of other accused. After registering the case in the case, the police formed three teams, which will soon arrest the named accused Nitin Tyagi, Nikhil Tyagi and Ashu Tyagi after the encounter.

When the dead body reached the village, people got angry

The dead body of the youth reached the village at around 9 pm on Friday night, due to which the people of the Dalit community became angry. People marched towards the house of the accused. The police somehow stopped the people, but created a ruckus and demanded financial help to the dependent family of the deceased. Police and some political people intervened to control the situation, officials assured financial assistance, due to which people calmed down. Then the police tried to perform the last rites of everyone, but the family refused to perform the last rites citing the time of night. Now the dead body will be done on Saturday morning.
