Daryl Mitchell Auto Rickshaw Ride: Daryl Mitchell The foreign cricketers who have come to India to participate in the T20 World Cup 2026 are enjoying the local things to the fullest. Recently a video went viral on social media, in which American cricketers were seen eating Golgappa. Now a video of New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell is going viral.
Actually, there is a match between New Zealand and South Africa at Narendra Modi Stadium on 14th February. Earlier, Mitchell was seen riding an auto rickshaw with his wife in Ahmedabad. Star cricketers usually travel in luxury cars, but Mitchell chose to roam around the local area. Seeing him in a public place, fans also clicked pictures with him. In the viral video, Mitchell and his wife are seen enjoying an auto ride.

Pakistan Bangladesh had expressed concern
Pakistan and Bangladesh had earlier expressed concerns about security and arrangements regarding the presence of foreign players in India during the T20 World Cup 2026. The cricket boards of both the countries had raised questions on the safety of the players, crowd management and travel arrangements. However, Indian organizers and security agencies assured that strict security arrangements have been made for all the teams and there is no scope for any negligence.
Daryl Mitchell’s performance
Mitchell has played two matches so far. Against Afghanistan he scored an unbeaten 25, while against UAE he was not required to bat as New Zealand won by 10 wickets.

New Zealand has scored 4 points with two wins in two matches and is at number-1 in the points table. South Africa also has 4 points, but their net run rate is less than New Zealand.
