Daughter-in-law beat her father-in-law, retired from Air Force, to death…Police investigation revealed this major reason for the murder
New Delhi : A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from the capital Delhi, which has created a sensation in the entire area. In Bindapur area of south-west Delhi, a daughter-in-law allegedly brutally beat her elderly father-in-law, leading to his death. Initial investigation has revealed that this murder took place due to a family property dispute. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the incident and people are shocked at the incident which has brought shame to this relationship.
Case opened due to PCR call received in the morning
Let us tell you that Delhi Police received a PCR call at around 10:46 am on December 27, in which information was given about the murder of a person in Manas Ram Park, Bindapur area. As soon as the information was received, the local police station immediately reached the spot. Police saw that 62-year-old Naresh Kumar was lying unconscious on the terrace of his house. There were serious injury marks on his body, clearly indicating that he had been assaulted.
Lost breath before reaching hospital
Naresh Kumar was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, but after examination the doctors declared him dead. After this, the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Naresh Kumar was retired from the Indian Air Force and was known as a calm person in the locality. His sudden death left even the neighbors in deep shock.
Daughter-in-law’s statements increased suspicion
Geeta, the daughter-in-law of the deceased, was the first to inform the police that Naresh Kumar was lying injured on the terrace. However, when the police interrogated him in detail, many contradictions came to light in his statements. Initially she kept herself aloof from the incident, but upon strict questioning she broke down and accepted the truth.
Property dispute became the reason for murder
Police investigation revealed that there was a dispute going on between Naresh Kumar and his daughter-in-law Geeta regarding property for a long time. Geeta used to fight with her father-in-law daily over her demand for share in the house and property. This dispute gradually escalated to such an extent that one day he got angry and beat up his father-in-law. According to the police, Naresh Kumar lost his life during this beating.
Loneliness increased stress at home
Investigation has also revealed that Naresh Kumar’s wife had died in the month of August. Meanwhile, Geeta’s husband Parveen lives in Hyderabad for work and was not present in Delhi at the time of the incident. The elderly father-in-law and daughter-in-law living alone in the house, as well as the property dispute, were making the situation more stressful.
Forensic team collected evidence
Seeing the seriousness of the murder, the police called the crime team and the Forensic Science Lab (FSL) team on the spot. Experts carefully examined the roof and the area around the house and collected important evidence. This evidence has been preserved for further investigation.
Murder case registered, accused arrested
Police have registered a case of murder under section 103(1) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) at Bindapur police station. Accused daughter-in-law Geeta has been arrested and sent to judicial custody. Police say that all aspects related to the case are being thoroughly investigated and if anyone else’s role comes to light, strict action will be taken against him too. This incident once again points towards the dangerous consequences of family disputes, where even the dignity of relationships is broken due to greed for property.
