Installment-by-installment calculation of happiness (The Installments): The benefit of this scheme is not available at once, but in 6 installments at different stages of the daughter’s age: First installment: ₹ 2,500 immediately after the birth of the daughter. Second installment: ₹ 2,500 when the daughter turns 1 year old and has been fully vaccinated. Third installment: ₹ 2,500 in any government school. ₹ 5,000 on taking admission in class 1. Fourth installment: ₹ 5,000 on reaching class 6. Fifth installment: ₹ 11,000 on reaching class 10. Sixth installment: The highest amount i.e. ₹ 25,000 when the daughter successfully passes class 12. Is your daughter eligible for this? (Eligibility) There are some small but important conditions to avail the benefits of the scheme: You must be originally a resident of Rajasthan. The daughter must have been born after June 1, 2016 (so that she can come under the ambit of this scheme). To avail the benefits, it is mandatory to have ‘Bhamashah Card’ or now ‘Jan Aadhar Card’. The benefit of the scheme is available to those daughters who are born in government hospitals or authorized private institutions.
